NEW THIS WEEK: Cindy Pruett will also be selling Grassfed Lowline Angus frozen 1 lb vacuum packed ground beef and 1 lb steak patties approved by the Texas Dept of Agriculture.

Things you might find this time of year:  baked goods (cakes, mini cheesecakes, cookies, fried pies & pies), canned goods (chow-chow, jams & jellies, marmalades, preserves, pickled vegetables, salsas & relishes), artisan Texas cheese, organic chicken, free-range eggs, freshly cut flowers, local raw honey, jewelry, plants (bedding plants, house plants, fruit trees, trees & whips), organic pork, soaps (lye and herbal), sugar cane syrup, tamales, vinegars, fruit wines and wood products.

LOCAL PRODUCE: green beans, fresh shelled pinto beans, fresh frozen shelled beans (butter & Lima),grassfed ground beef and steak patties, cantaloupe, carrots, fresh corn, cucumbers, eggplants, fresh garlic, greens (Swiss chard, collards, kale, red Russian kale, mustard, spinach & turnip), herbs (basil, dill, mint, oregano, rosemary, sage & thyme), okra, onions, parsley, peaches, pears, fresh frozen shelled peas(black eyed, Lady cream, English and purple hull), fresh shelled peas (black-eyed, purple hull & 3 types of cream), fresh unshelled peas (2 types of purple hull & 3 types of cream peas), shelled pecans, peppers(banana, Bell, cayenne, jalapeno, pimento, poblano & serrano), plums, new potatoes, radishes, squash (8-ball, butternut, patti pan, white scallop, summer, yellow & zucchini), tomatillos, tomatoes (canning tomatoes - 25 lb boxes, cherry, green, red, seedless & yellow), turnips and watermelons.

The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot. Our Wednesday markets our back so you can shop the Farmer’s Market every Wednesday, from 2 to 6 p.m.
